Duquesne's football team moved up one spot in this week's Sports Network Division I-AA Mid-Major Poll, as it did in Sunday's Football Gazette rankings. There's a significant difference - the upward move in the TSN poll is to 7th; DU is now 5th in the Gazette poll. Full Story |

Duquesne's football team moves up one spot in this week's Don Hansen National Weekly Gazette Division I-AA Mid-Major Poll. Saturday, behind Scott Knapp's school-record passing, the Dukes topped Fordham 20-17 in New York. An Atlantic 10 program, the Rams compete in the Patriot League for football. Full Story

In the --- Return of the Duquesne Newstand --- the news includes a kudo for Duquesne's computer network that enables coaches to check if a player is where he should be (class, study hall, etc.), a negative tidbit about the delay of Saturday's football game at Fordham and the possibility of the Dukes at Heinz Field.
